The cloudburst plan is a citywide strategy for handling extreme rainfall events. It was adopted in 2012 to complement Copenhagen’s climate adaptation plan.
The goal is to reduce flood impacts as extreme rainfall becomes more frequent. Copenhagen planned ~300 projects over a 20-year period.
