Under the Active, Beautiful, Clean Waters (ABC Waters) Programme, an initiative by PUB (Singapore’s National Water Agency), Singapore set out to become a City of Gardens and Water.
Launched in 2006, ABC Waters has transformed the way Singapore manages surface water—from functional drains to multi-purpose waterways, and from conventional stormwater management to sustainable approaches that retain and treat runoff at source.
